This is a reforming pulverised coal silo's level measurement with a long standpipe. The key of the solution is to apply ANL-9127 120GHz FMCW radar level transmitter, which performs very well in the this environment with inner joint interference.

This is a typical reforming application in an old power plant. The long stand pipe is over 1.5 meter, inner interference is very strong, and dielectrical constant is much lower than regular solids. During process, the silo is full of dusts. Monitoring level in long and narrow space relies on radar level transmitter with very small beam angle, and high effiency.
