The AiW-5112x is a non-contact, all-weather, compact surface water speed radar sensor for measuring open channel flow in open channels and rivers. It is designed to provide reliable velocity data continuously during floods or high concentrations of suspended sediment. Mounted above the water surface with flexible brackets and away from floating debris, speed measurements and sensor status information are available via RS-485/Modbus, and it is compatible with AQUA flow software for system calibration.
